Apart from Spain, who on paper are frightening, the England side is top drawer and as good as most. Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney, a Neville at his peak, a Beckham at his peak and an Owen at his peak have all played at tournaments before though and it ALWAYS ends up in glorious failure. There's been nothing to suggest that won't happen again.
As for the Scotland/England thing, I probably watch more England games than Scotland ones tbh. National football is a bit of a piss take these days.
