part of me wants to fit the VR6 from a golf and turbo that.

I notice a lot of people on corrado forum who fit a supercharger usually end up binning it for a turbo instead

When I was 15/16 I wanted a Mk2 golf GTi, but insurance was a big problem, To own a Corrado VR6 seemed 100000000 light years away - no chance. Thought they were relativly new then, now there going for decent money but ive still never had one

Had my mk2 gti though, even though it was abrief fling

i remember the golf

i wanted a corrado from about 15/16years of age too. My dad nearly bought one back then and there always used to be a red one parked up in town.

They are getting quite cheap now, i've seen VR's for as low as £1500-£2000 now. But its a tough job finding a decent one now.

all the jobs/mods i've done are mainly just making it more reliable. Probably spent about £4-5k now

Yup, parts are gone, and as far as I know the shell went to a crusher.

That plate is now on my work bike, soon to go on my sports bike.

Im now a fully fledged internet warrior and power ranger all rolled into one generous lardy helping.

hello, its weird for me as the new names aren't new to me, i have been on as a guest most of the time

@jake, the golf is a 2.8, corrado is 2.9, same engine just bigger pistons, throttle body, inlet etc and a bit more power

but i think people use the 2.8 as it can be more realible. I think the 2.9 was a VW afterthought (like most of the corrado)
