TBH Nic this update took a lot of hard graft. Had to try and keep my hands clean for work the following day which was not easy.
Need to sort a turbo to let Jay use for mockups which could prove hard to do without shelling out large wonga.

LOL, its stopping on Motronic whatever happens!
Its having the GT3071R fitted from the start and then bits will slowly be added to it. Decided it makes no sense to fit the KKK only to have to change the exhaust later to suit a 3" downpipe etc.
Should hopefully have some progress on it next week. Depends how i get on with sorting a flywheel for the F28.
O and this arrived today:

Big thanks to David Dixon, the F28 has arrived today:
It was soon in half and the speedo ring changed then put back together and the FWD conversion plate fitted:
I got the Avo spring seats removed using a hacksaw, cleaned them up on a wire wheel and then coated them in oil to stop them rusting until i am ready to refit them:

Cheers Nick, feels good this time, a lot better than the last time as i dont feel weighed down by bits that with hindsight i should never have bothered with. Its starting again with a clean slate as i have nothing left from any of my old attempts. Wish i had kept those 16" MO's i sold you though

Hands were far too shitty and i was cussing far to much at it to bother taking pics. I fucking hate splitting F28's.

Got back from Muscat this morning and i had a nice parcel off TTV Racing:
I was not expecting it till early next week, amazing service and the flywheel is totally cock on.
So despite been totally fucked with jet lag i decided it would be rude not to crack on:
And then i slung the box on:
Just waiting on a rear engine mount off Tom Eccles and i can fit the engine in place.

Used the old flywheel bolts and did them to a FT setting, will be reet for now.
Tom said he was posting the mount last Thursday so i guess it should be here any day now.

Todays update is the engine and box are back in:
Then i had some bits off Avo, one new front strut so i now have a matching pair and what was supposed to be 3 spring seats for the other 3 coilovers. However i only have one rear spring seat in the box so i need to call and order another one tomorrow.
Tomorrow i am aiming to have the rear engine mount on if it arrives and the gear linkage all sorted out and fitted, the inlet on if the gaskets arrive and some of the pipe work done.
Been told there is a delay on the turbo but they are aiming to dispatch it on Thursday or Friday.
