How much money are you going to lose on the focus in your ~12 moths of owning it though.

I'd have the TTS all day long over the Focus. Bosses son has 1 in blue and it's a peach of a machine.
I liked the Focus' when they first came out but there's tons of them about. Every single colour looks gash as well, even the white is now going out of fashion.

I think Green will date far too quickly - like the Orange ST
IMO seeing as you have bought the new hosue etc I would spend the money on the hous e- nice garden conservatory and keep the perfectly good M3 as you dont do that many miles
The RS will not reallt hold its value and will look vulgar in a few years time
All personal opinion of course
if you are getting one though get white

I could have sworn you said you were going to sell your M3 and then spend TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS on a Ford?
I must have misread.

Green FRS all the way pal.
I love how most say £25k on a ford but if someone was to buy a cossie for the same money or spend £7k+ on a series 1 RS turbo they would become heros

I agree Eck. I'd never spend 15k on an Escos or something, but some people would praise those people for being so cool. I think they're mad personally. Personal preference at the end of the day.

.... and that money would be pretty much SAFE.
The Focus RS isnt going to go up in value for a long time. It'll be a 15k Ford in a couple of years.
Each to thier own... but I'd never ever set out and BUY (not spend on, just buy :S) a Ford, Vaux, Fiat, VW for 25k. All you are going to get is a glorified rep mobile/shopping hatch/school run car. (extreme reasoning I know, but thats how I feel)
I'd rather get a slightly older car (nearly) new and let some other poor bastard pay for the privilige of buying of off the forecourt.
I agree with a lot of comments above.... If you have the mini go for something a bit special, not just a shouty loud hatchback.
I keep meaning to get a nice car, but either never get round to it, or blow the money of other shit
