As I've said before the next stage is to get a compression test done on it Will. That will be able to confirm if its 100% worn rings causing piston blow-by because of a loss in compression.
As for the EML flashing up you need to do a paperclip test to flash up the fault codes. Theres a how to in the tutorial section which is a big help on how to do it

Haven't I read this already elsewhere? Backs your point up completely. The guy is an idiot and expects it to fix itself.

I mean the thread in general, not your reply!
It was in general chat a few days back...
EDIT: Yeah...

Plus he has asked it on other forums.
Why he asks a question, to then totally disregard it and ask it again or restructure it I don't know?

Will, I'll tell you what you can do that will help everybody who has ever existed and will ever exist.
Stop making multiple threads on exactly the same thing! It just over-complicates matters. Not that you'd notice anyway, seeing as you don't seem to take any of the advice you're ever given.

That will be a laugh in itself.
If he cannot spot a smokey old shitter in the first place he won't have developed x-ray vision to see something already removed from a car, or even a runner with stop-smoke/thick oil etc in it.
