Spain played really well and to their strengths again, very measured performance and did well to keep the germans quiet for the majority. I predict a very tight final, lots of intricate passing but I think holland will 'go for it' first and possibly leave spain with a way in, hollands defence isn't as solid as spains imo also.
I'll be happy wheover wins tbh.

yep i was really really impressed with spain, love there passing, touches, and control on the ball.
only critism id have it too much fucking about on the edge of the box, they could have bagged more if they were more effective in this area

Too many sideways passes does my head in. Its little wonder Xavi has completed the most passes. Most go back or sideways.

It's definitely frustrating as a neutral (and probably even more so as a fan of the EPL), especially when they have someone as talented as villa who is obviously waiting to receive the ball in dangerous positions and they just wait and wait, he's the most skillful player in their team and could latch onto anything with a bit of pace on it but.... it's their style and fair play to them for not budging on it. Saying that, they do tend to play 2 very different halfs, 1st is all about maintaining posession, 2nd half they increase the speed of passing and simply wait for it to stretch the defence and create an opening for a killer pass.

They do annoy me sometimes how they get to the edge of the box, then pass it all the way back to the half way line instead of forcing their way through.
