Mine is 228g/km.

I've owned for two years, driven 14k miles

That's just over 5 tons of CO2.

You could achieve that in a band C car by doing 20k a year, as I'm sure are people out there doing so. But it costs you £60 not £800.

Now there's a fan of road pricing.

My mates 2001 fiesta 1.3 was more expensive than my 2000 VTS

I think the one that takes the piss the most is the RX-7. Pre 2001 1.3 displacement = £125 road tax

They kill rabbits as they drive along!

I've driven cars worth less that that tax

Why for the love of God don't people just buy pre '73 cars?? Massive V8 and V12s if you're lucky and you pay ZERO tax.

MPG might be a kick in the balls though....

I bet the MPS is faster than most pre 73 cars though and more reliable, and comfort, and has more creature comforts.....I'll stick with paying road tax

Steve you have an engine almost 3 times the size of mine, you've got good value really

Nope, they have a displacement of 1300cc so they are put in the correct tax band for a 1300cc... the same one as my sisters KA

still think it should be abolished and tax oput on fuel

therefore the more you use the reaods the more tax you pay to maintain them

also no one can then avoid road tax
