It's a pretty good deal yeah - albeit 24 months.
I just think it's right that it's a good phone and free on the majority of contracts - unlike the iPhone which imho is a rip off.

Phoned O2 at 8am this morning as I had just pulled up at work. Their system doesn't update till 3pm so have no information.
Called at 4.30pm - everything indicates stock tomorrow with tariff details and being able to order - I bet this is after 3pm though.
Delivery 1 - 2 working days - could have it by Wednesday

O2 fail. Couldn't come close to NokiaDirect or Vodafone. £35 but wanted £57 for the phone. PAC on its way.

Naaa, it's on O2. £35/month, 300 mins, unlimited txts, 500mb data. Free phone. The reason why O2 can't match it is Nokia subsidise the phone. Yet Vodafone offers the same deal.
I reckon O2 aren't being as competitive because of the N97 issue and they don't really want to sell it...

Thank you your order is now complete.
Should be here tomorrow
O2 via NokiaDirect, £35/month, 300 minutes, unlimited txts, 500mb data, free phone, HDMI cable and insurance at £6.99 rather than the £10 O2 wanted.

Doesn't sound too shabby, do you know how much they are sim-free?
Eitherway, get pics and vids when you get it

£439
Granted £35/month is a lot over 18 months but the way I look at it is I'd be spending £25 on Simplicity anyway so it's only costing me £10 extra plus insurance.

My misses just phoned - the postman turned up when she was de-icing the car. He orange N8 arrived despite it saying Ready for Despatch on the website. Fingers crossed I get mine after going dentist and picking my car up for work
