as soon as escort is on the road, hopefully this week, the corrado will be taken off road and having quite a lot replaced/fixed

some bodywork, along with (new steering column, new rack, suspension all coming off again, thinking of doing timing chains at same time, fix door handles, stop windows rattling, fix headlights, fix heater controls, fix electric seats and give it a damn good clean

spray wd40 around the suspect areas, if the engine note changes whilst your spraying you know you're near

Free bump, not tried the wd40 yet.
But car is in for its MOT today, exciting times....
i know its going to fail on tyres, CV boot, and a rear bulb but want to see if anything else is buggered before i spend more on it
felt quite fast when i was driving it around this morning

got a list of FAIL
mainly:
rear chassis leg/suspension mounting point excessively corroded
front brake pipe excessively corroded
Front ball joint excessive play, flagged as **DANGEROUS*** (steering felt nice to me when driving it, shows how bad my corrado must be )
Front CV Boot split
two front tyres, no tread and bulges in side wall
and some stuff about uneven braking, and braking return not even, think the caliper pistons are a bit stiff

figured it will prob cost me about £30 in parts, mate will do welding for free (got to see how bad it is tbh)
think i may as well fix it, its insured, i've paid the £54 for MOT and also don't want to see the carbon fibre bits go to waste
