So from your post above Paul, you do what everybody in the world who plays racing games or goes out on track does, try to beat their own time?

I'd love to go for the experience, I bet the atmosphere there is amazing. I'd be quite happy to stand in the car park and admire the machinery.

As a comparison for how competitive I am with myself, I've got two karting events in September and I'm currently on a strict diet and exercise plan to lose weight.
I'm already under minimum weight, but the lighter I am, the more choice I have on where to place my leaded weight in the kart.
Taking things seriously and beating myself = fun. I used to do it all the time on the ps2 with ghost cars, would set a good time, then try to beat it. Would be happy when I beat it, but then would have a new ghost to beat.
In the end, you end up doing lap after lap to beat an absolute prick of a ghost car (which was infact yourself).
