said on GMTV that she has gone into hiding but says she is sorry for what she did. i'd give her a medal for comedy originality.

It's the way she's petting it, then suddenly looks rather guilty, the chucks the kitty in the bin and legs it. How bizarre
Good job that camera was there too, doing a mighty good job of keeping us safe from terrorists.

^^ That's a bit fucking harsh; if she'd shut it in the bin, dropped a hand grenade in or doused it in petrol and set fire to it, I could understand but no harm came to the cat so why would you hope she dies?
Fuck's sake, there are far, far more serious things going on than some pensioner, who may or may not be little mentally unwell putting a fucking cat in a fucking bin!

nah, she knew the cat would be heading for the crusher.
She wanted to kill it.
She might be sacked from her job because of it.
YAY! her life will be ruined

Surely its not as bad as people who poison cats by putting antifreeze in saucers outside? Cat's love the taste of it, drink it and die!
I know a guy who sat at his back window and any cat which shit on his lawn, he shot and bin bagged - before the shooting stage he would catch them in a home made cat trap and because he was a lorry driver, he'd drive them hundreds of miles away and turf them out.
I'd think the above examples are worse than putting one in a wheelie bin? Bin men open the bin top before its put onto the truck so they'd have seen the cat anyway..........

Maybe, but owners of the house could have been away or not heard the cat and the cat could have died in the bin.
It was an awful thing to do and she got caught.
One of my old cats was shot by an evil person.

it's all animal cruelty though and shouldn't be tolerated, whether it be a cat, a dog or a frickin' giraffe

Barbaric is a bit strong, its not like she pulled its head off with her bare hands, skinned it alive, then ate its still beating heart! She put it in a bin!
I'm not saying what she did was right; I'm just pointing out its not the worst, most horrific event in history

4chan is epic. They'll be seeking revenge on this lady. Has happened with many other animal abuse cases

i agree, she didn't exactly harm it, (except picking it up by the scruff which you are not meant to do without supporting their body weight), but at the same time, had the dustbin been emptied into a crusher, who knows, maybe that was her intention? crazy lady

If I put one small glass bottle in the wrong bin; I get a great big orange sticker on my bin and told if I do it again; they'll never take my bins - I'm sure they'd see the cat before crushing it
