I think Escort is a suitably choice use of words to describe mine and Lawrahs situation. The pics on the advert depicted a fine example, rendering an Escort Cosworth in prime condition. However after a long journey I arrived disappointed, for there sat in front of me was an Escort 1.8 Ghia, with a rusty arch like 3corsameals. I had been mis-sold.

However that aside I consider myself fortunate to have escape the £1000 per night test drive, asking price, the car had little feel and felt a bit wooden, almost like it had taken some abuse from an ex owner.

I do wonder if the pimp like car sales man is still after me for the cash, but for that kind of money I could have bought one of them new Focus' that isnt an ageing design in need of a facelift!
