Small update today
painted my arb on sunday has turned out very well. I will be painting it again.
Ive used this arb (gus's old one with polybushes fitted)
And my old arb in comparison ..
Recieved a parcel the other day which had my new suspension in it
Removed the air con pipes that will no longer be used
can just see where ive cut them to (will be removing them fully when the engine is out)
Removed my exhaust aswell so i can paint and repair the rear of the car where the exhaust is mounted to.
Its a powerflow system 2 1/4 inch
removed both driveshafts from the box aswell. All in preperation for the engine being removed
Thats all for today. Im going picking up some more parts on sunday so will update you all again.
Thanks for looking

Bought a few more parts on Sunday, little trip to Cumbria and I came back with 2 F28 Boxes thanks to rickiek123 for lifting them into my car top bloke.
One box is built up the other is in 2 bits. If your wondering why I bought 2 it's because when they were advertised one box needs a new 2nd gear and the other box needed a new differential, but rickiek123 then found a good differential so said I could have that
Jobs to do with the boxes are split the built up box and put the new diff in it.
As for the other box I will be keeping it and replacing 2nd gear in a few weeks as 1st,3rd and 4th gears ate all brand new.
Gave the built box a quick wipe down today ...
And back in my car. Will give it a proper clean tomorrow when I take it to my garage more updates soon
Random shot of the box no...

*****Update 10/3/13*****
So been a while since I updated, got quite a bit done today. Managed to remove the c20xe which is now for sale, with the help of my good friend Simon Sanded down the rusty mounts (just surface rust) there ready to be painted now.
Also took all the sound deadening off the bulk head.
Hoping to get the let in on Easter Sunday.
Next few weeks will be prepping the engine bay. Just need to sand the rust and paint it (will be doing the whole bay) going to weld the strengthening plates in aswell. Has anyone a diagram of where to weld them please ? Any way pics !
On its way out
Forgot to mention i removed the steering rack (will be using the electronic rack from gus) This one is for sale u2u me if your interested
And out !!
The bay afterwards
All the sound deadening
Shot of the surface rust
Part way through removing the sound deadening
Surface rust again
Sanded slightly
Shot of the bay
All sound deadening gone !
The xe removed (for sale)
Mounts sanded
Closer shot of the bulkhead (needs painting yet)
Parting shots
That's all for now folks I'll keep you all posted , if your interested in the steering rack or engine/parts u2u me
Thanks for looking

Thanks mark ! Just a little work now
Bought my 6 piece strengthening plate kit off eBay yesterday so should be with me next week, and will be welded on. Then more painting to do.
Going to vauxhall to see if they still stock c20let clutches and flywheels aswell as a load of bolts !
Then I need an uprated fuel pump
Boost hoses (Roose)
Gearbox rebuild
Arb lowering blocks
Then lots more, hopefully the engine will be in and running before April
