Then people need to make an effort and get over there to support it if you want it to continue. Post anything track related over there, the more content that goes up over there the more it will grow. How hard is it to type in an address?

I can totally see what Paul and you are saying, Steve but merging or rebranding just isnt the answer for me.

More advertising and more WR shows and events would help it but people who are on WR need to contribute to it more as any new members it attracts are going to come to WR and see nothing but a dead site and will promptly leave and never return.

Id put a WR link on the top bar of CS, like the Pizza button, as has been suggested.

merging the two will ruin corsasport. try to imagine what offday would be like with all the threads from sportsday, house day, geekday and photoday chucked in there. it will be a mass of shite.

CS will be at PVS and TVL and they will be well represented with Corsas, and I don't care if we have to visit the owners personally and offer them a Dairy Milk and some hugs. Such is my desire to get back on the map.

it also needs some development, an integrated gallery so i can put all my ring pics up

a feature that would really encourage people to join would be video uploads aswell

Also can i just say i dont like the WR forum's layout. It looks like every other forum which i hate. CS's layout and look is just perfect, ive never come across a forum like it. Its simple, clutter free and easy to use.

Id say no as its a Corsa not a Calibra/Vectra so wont fit in on MIG

Post on both. When i used to use various car forums I'd post the same thread across about 5 different sites

Yes spot on...

I didn't realise the Corsa side of corsasport was suffering so much at shows. I stopped going to typical shows a while ago and back then corsasport was packed full of 60 corsa's or more.

I guess another problem is, corsa owners are generally young ... 17-19 ... CS's average age at a guess is higher than this these days. That's got to play a part in it too...

I do agree though, I've noticed the negativity on this forum when someone new posts up and puts up a pic of their corsa. I'm not surprised people go else where. I've never really understood why people need to put negative / cruel things in response to people's pride and joy.

True Paul, a simple welcome nice car mate will do. Not a 2-3 page slag of about the new kids lexis lights!

Could always start up a new forum called 'Corsa-Racer'.

For the people who track/race Corsa'S.

It might be a bit busier than Meastro Owners Club.

If you think that's bad...
You should see what happened to Rob B when he posted on s2ki about modifying cars. They gave him so much abuse, a lot of it personal about his family members etc... was totally uncalled for.

s2ki is generally an older audience and they're upset that younger people are buying the car they like... Obviously that's another forum that will die out - especially since s2000's are no longer produced.

I know this is an overused excuse but maybe the recession has had an effect on numbers? People dont have the money to spend on cars and even less to spend on going to shows. Its not just CS id say nearly every single car club has seen a reduction in numbers if the shows ive been to are anything to go by.

I know im not spending anything on my corsa for the foreseeable future and shows can be expensive things to attend. £40 for a full tank of petrol to get there and back, £20 on tickets and if its a 2 day show another £20 on beer and food. Becomes an expensive weekend by the end of it!

All Corsa and Corsa C had more cars than CS. That isn't because of the recession.

most people that have replied in general chat today dont really like corsas anymore id bet.
