I'm looking forward to seeing your reports on how it goes. It looked like you were building the car for more track based driving over last winter.

I can't really give you any advice on car trackdays as the only trackdays I do are on my bike. All I can say is enjoy yourself!

Cage was more to stiffen up the shell and provide general safety more than anything track related. It's still a road car that I use quite often so trying to make it last
