i never said it didnt but if the ST didnt have a turbo then it wouldnt pull away quicker after a certain speed.
im not comparing n/a cars against turbo cars. im comparing n/a cars against n/a cars.

the faster car will obviously more than likely pull away in a straight line due to various things but it wouldnt be a case of it shooting off by car lenghts after car lengths unless it has a turbo if you know what i mean.

Coming from the man who wants to swap his 2.0 for a 1.6.

Nothing mentioned about the 1.6 part. EK9 yes but there is a good few with the internals of a DC2

It still makes the car move quicker than a lot of other higher torque cars though.

Thats not part of the comparison. I was replying to another post about me wanting another car thats all.

EK9 wont be much lighter than a DC2 btw.

I reckon you would hate an EK9.

Aye. Wouldnt mind the race version which came with no abs, ac, elec windows or sound deadening iirc but are harder to come by.

Exactly.

If you had used the right gear in the 1st place, you would have saved yourself the embarassment of a Ford Puma sitting on your bumper.
