I understand why it's there. Players running into the crowd winds them up, even if ina good way, and this can lead to trouble.

Did adebayor get booked for his celebration when he ran the length of the pitch?
It's a stupid rule.

Think he did, yes and possibly some kind of sanction from the FA for inciting the crowd, cant remember.
Crowd incitement i agree should be punished but not celebrating with your own fans, who have traveled a fair distance and paid a lot of money to come see their team. I love it when the players come over and show some proper passion.
Just H&S nonsense that's ruining the game and taking it away from the fans.

Nothing better than seeing some passion from the team players. It's good to see it means something to them.

Chester hit six goals at home and stay top. Just another 18,771 leagues to go and we'll be back in the BSP (hopefully) eyeing up a place in the Football League again.
We've had some fucking good crowds at home too, beating most BSP (conference in old money) gates which is no mean feat.

Which league did they put you in? What sort of crowds you getting? Be interesting to see how you go along as every Phoenix club starts well before they inevitably hit a ceiling. I know Scarboroughs phoenix club just tore apart the NCEL leagues scoring about 7 a game but its when you start to hit the bigger semi pro leagues that the real test begins, particularly with regards to how crowds hold up. I know FCUM are struggling to get any higher now and AFCW had to spend a fair few years working through the conf feeder leagues.
Oh and BSP is old money, its the BSBP now

2,300 is a very good average. Hope they make it back up.

Good performance from the redmen on Saturday had to Sly+ it and watched it last night as was away, typical! Some lovely pass and move stuff played, hopefully we'll have a uraguayan slotted in for the stoke game too!

first half you were excellent, and very organised in midfield, 2nd hald you seem to lose your way a little, but defended well. Deserved to win, just not 3-0.

No but funnily enough I saw a mate in the wolves crowd
Russ, I don't think the scoreline flattered us tbh. We kept the ball really well and looked to create but in a patient manner, 31 passes before the 3rd goal. Torres is definitely getting back to some sort of form and him, Maxi and Meireles are starting to develop a good understanding too. We've got Stevie to come back and hopefully Suarez. TBH i'm just happy to see us playing decent football again.

I've been quietly excited about him since he signed, he's had a couple of shockers mainly down to his passing when under pressure but he's also got alot of confidence and decent vision which his body seems to be catching up to. That goal was brilliant, he was threatening to score well before he got his first one in the derby, I think he's had a ridiculous amount of shots from range though. We need players like him if we are going to attempt to play attacking football week in week out.

Reminiscent of JAR, or Masch (but he was normally about 20 ft wide and/or high)

Amazing thing about the Wolves game is that Poulsen was playing and I didn't scream at the TV
