Guessing the openbox's don't support plugins?
Edit - Compare with Alun and see if it's the box that is fubar'd. Doesn't sound good though

Think it might have been the TV I've got it on not liking 1080i 60, think 1080i 50 has fixed it.

It looks like the network port on it might be DOA

I'm about to try going back to original firmware it came with but otherwise it's just dead.
No lights on the port, tried different cables, router, wiggled it about etc but nothing.
Wasted a 24 hour test now.

That's a real shame, hopefully just an anomaly from the bunch.
I imagine you could fix it yourself in less than half an hour if you took it apart, but you never know if there's anything else wrong with it.
Down to Alun now

I considered opening it up, read stories of tuners not being soldered in properly. I'll see what the shop says first.

Guy got back already saying they'll swap it. Had a closer look when I was putting it back in box and the port isn't sitting straight, almost certainly just not soldered properly.

Definitely a quick fix then. I've read the same about the tuners not being soldered.
sat4all? Their website looks a bit dodgy , are they sending the next one next-day or just standard as before?
Which tutorials with regards to setting it up are you using John?

It came next day before, I just didn't order it in time. It's coming out when the other one goes back though so it'll be next week now.
I've had a look on digital kaos and the openbox forum mainly.
There's a firmware including sky channels near the top of the s10 forum on digital kaos, used that and you stick your cline in a text file. Copy them to a USB stick then there's an update from USB option in the menus. It's actually really simple when you get it.

Can you adjust the channel list? So BBC 1 is on 1. ITV 1 is on 3 etc?

Yes, you download channel lists, I've got one now, only problem is it's for northern ireland you can make your own but I haven't worked that out yet.
Edit: think the one in the picture was for Scotland, managed to make my own now.

At £60 for the box and £5-£10 a month, you're laughing.
I want one just to mess about with but we have the full TV package, minus sport and films (which will go unused), for a good few months yet.

I've the same package, got sick of paying through the roof for the movies and sports, I'm that impressed I'm debating getting a half decent box and ditching sky tbh

Can get a vu duo+ clone for about £200, think I'll go for that if I'm happy enough with the S10.
Cancelled my multiroom sub this afternoon.
Just need a working box now.

With multi-tuner boxes I assume you need another line, just as you would with having two separate boxes in the house?

Not sure you would? It's only going to be the one box checking in to the server at the end of the day regardless of number of tuners? unsure on that one
