50k

Went to Renault today and they had it up on ramps, they can see what I mean and have admitted it doesn't "look" right so next Tuesday it's going in for a geo check if that comes back within Renault guidelines then fine I'll leave it at that but just watching it drive down the road annoys me as if I saw a car driving down the road like that I would instantly think "crash damaged" but it drives perfectly and handles fine just looks like the bottom of the wheel is pointing inwards.

Pisses me off as I wanted to get springs on it asap

Well bodywork is all original so no accident damage and if rear beam is bent then they can fix it

How can only replacing one shock affect the camber / toe, and need to be replaced in pairs?

Understandable if the side with the new shock had the geometry out, and needed realigned

My thoughts are that the rear beam is slightly and I mean ever so slightly bent, either that or the stub axel Is fucked.

I won't be happy until it matches the offside so they better be up with a solution As got 14 days to get money back if it's not rectfied.

There supposedly very bad on fuel as well. My mate has a blue one and says it's so bad on fuel he'd be as well running an Evo lol.

Later ones had different gear ratios and a different final drive iirc to combat this

Factually correct. Never was probably the wrong word for the pedants, it obviously does happen, it won't happen in 99% of cases though.

in 7 years of working for VW, Porsche and Audi franchises shocks and springs in retail and warrenty cases where support technical bulletins listed it as a requirement, shocks and springs where replaced in pairs

It's bent it's official. Renault have kept it and I'm gonna suck them dry. Got a courtesy car and also a full tank but selling bent cars isn't going to go down well especially to expentent mothers.

I don't think so, all panels and paint is original you can see so either early in it's life it's gone into a kerb and nobody has ever bothered to rectify it just replaced a damaged wheel or it's just a bent rear beam.

See people, this is why you pay over the odds and get a car from a dealership. New cambelt, two new tyres and now a bent rear beam being relplaced.

So rear beam bent?

Surely only cause of that is accident damage?
