Lots of England talk in here
Anyway I do wonder if England would do better under Redknapp, FA saying they havent even thought about replacement yet or discussed it but they must have done

if prem managers wont let their players play for the u21s then the only way they'll get tournament experience is at the euros, take the kids get them sorted for the world cup

I even think we have the individual talents to even make it to finals of these tournaments, just needs someone with the key to bring it all together.
Watch spain then watch england, always 4 options with Spain thats because they all read it so well and make themselves available, england far too static atm

Spain arent perfect though, they can fall apart if things arent going 100% smoothly, even in that scotland match, they were 3-0 up and conceded 1 goal so clearly still mega on top, yet they still started fouling, and diving etc for a period, even the passing went to pot a little

Would the FA accept Redknapp now? before they wanted a yes man and he wasnt it, also he was inmvolved in some shady affairs which i believe is still going on?

redknapp is a wheeler dealer whether he likes it or not, imo he would be no good in intl set-up as he cannot tinker the squad etc.
the perfect man would be wenger tbh, whetehr the players are any good or not, he will develop them and would sort out english football from U18s up imo. get us playing much better football too, whetehr the end result woudl be like arsenal who knows but at leats get some fluidity instead of this punt and run nonsense

oh yeah i cant ever see it but woudl be pretty much perfetc. i still think mourinho woudl do a good job but in both cases, theya rent english so surelkyt they are much more likely to want to do it for their native copuntires than for england where they will get hounded and absused constantly

The public wouldnt accept wenger, or a foreigner now imo. It'll have to be an englishman (unless it's mourinho)

still personally think nationality shoudlnt matter - has to be the best man for the job.
2 candiadates - mourinho or hodgson, you all gonna want hodgson cos it has to be an englishman??

If Rooney's 3 match ban is upheld then we CANNOT take him, waste of a squad space when it will be difficult toi qualify from the group, majority of teams who have qualified are very strong so going to be a tricky tourny
When are the groups decided, though?
The finals draw is on 2 Dec

Wenger will be scouring europe for hidden talent and presenting black french boys to the FA to sign for England

It's hardly like the squad is filled to the top and overflowing with world class talent, he could easily fit into that squad including the ban

Only people it could be imo, are fergie, mourinho or wenger, none of whom will get it, or want it
Big fat sam will get it , can't give it to redknapp imo, too much shady business

granted but as a principle you cant very well leave someone at home so that rooney can take their place and not play 3 of the max 4/5 games we will play

Who would realistically miss out due to Rooney being there? Somebody shite like SWP no doubt.
