My guess would be that no, he probably didn't think of his kids, or anyone else, id imagine he wasn't tuinking of anything with any kind of sense after getting to that point
(i still think suicide is selfish as it'll devestate his family and affects so many people but i understand to get there something was obviously massively wrong in his mind)
Leeds fans are going to sing his name for the first 11 mins of tomorrows match.

Really sad, I was so shocked when I heard about it. People who judge those who commit suicide and have no compassion are a bit thick tbh, it's not exactly black and white.

Yeah. I'm thick lol
It is black and white. You either kill yourself or don't. You either face your problems or you leave them for your family to sort out, along with your death.
I'm not saying its not awful whats happened to Gary Speed. But, whoever it is, my view on suicide remains the same.

Black and white, not in my view. That implies complete and rational control of your mind, when the likelihood is, if you are considering it you probably aren't at your most stable.
Of course it's horrible for the people left behind, but it's not a nice end for the person themselves.

The simplistic view comes from never having been involved.
My views changed when I lost a friend to it.
Can we please keep this on topic.

Don't be so sure. But anyway, let's try to keep this to respecting a great football player.

I can't understand what happened to him in those hours from leaving FF to hanging himself?
It seems very strange. Everyone who spoke to him that day said there where no signs at all he was not right. And this is people who knew him best.
I realise people often hide things but surely there would have been some signs he was depressed/suicidal????

When we were back in Essex, my old man owned garages and a car spares shop, he had a customer and a friend that he knew for years and had been using my dads businesses for years as well. My dad was saying this this chap came into his car spares shop and settled his monthly tab, like he did at the end of every month, then went home and gassed himself in his garage. Apparently he seemed normal when he was with my Dad the day before, they were taking the piss out of each other and I am told there was absolutely no sign that any thing was wrong. Turns out in this case he had found out a few days prior that his wife was playing away.

Well its early days in the inquest but shes been quoted as saying that everything was fine between them, they hadnt argued and she cant understand why
Id of thought if he left a note even if the details of it were not released something would of been said?

Rumours online suggesting it as The Sun
Can only imagine that if it is true then he must have thoght his marriage, career and relationship with his sons would be over, and that without all of that then life wouldn't be worth living.
If true, top marks to the journalist doing the digging eh, hope they are proud of themselves causing a guy to end his own life and consequently ruining the lives of his family
