If anyone is worried about car going walkies then lock the door with spair key while the engine is running.

That's almost correct. Use the spare key to start and your normal key to lock, if it still manages to go walkabouts, you retain all your important keys that are on with your usual car key. My area probably isn't as bad as needing to do that, I just don't trust people

Don't forget that de-icer eats away all your window rubbers if not washed off after...

Heated windscreen on my car is awesome. Melts even pretty thick ice in no time at all.

cant start mine with spare key!! bloody renault and there key cards! car is parked on a slope as well so water just sits on the screen!!
