i only like the lungo ones, find most of them too strong/bitter.

see i don't like coffee to be small and strong, would rather a full mug of medium/strong coffee.

Ben, does your pixie have enough room to fit a mug under the nozzle? Doesn't look like there's a height adjust on the website..

I've got a Citiz not a Pixie and the little shelf that holds an espresso cup folds up on that to allow a bigger mug/cup. I'm pretty sure the Pixie will do similar.

Best ask Marc tbh.

the grinder is a work in progress... i only aquired it last week.. it was completely fecked untill i repaired it.. i need too find a dosing chamber for it... it does the job for now...

£200 De'Longhi espresso machine, frothing jug and thermometer. All you need for introductory espresso or cappucino. Machine has built in tamper.

Looks half decent bit of kit for the money that. Will be interesting if Whittie gets fed up of cleaning the group/steam arm etc everytime.

I'd have got a Gaggia classic for that money tbh.

Steam arm is the worst bit to clean, rest of it doesn't need much cleaning.

I end up having a normal coffee most of the time so steam arm not used often.

I never use the steam arm, only if I want an Americano or bit of extra hot water in the espresso.

Mind you, the hot water on my De'Longhi spurts out, so ends up splashing coffee everywhere. Handing for extra warming of the cups though.
