evos use alot more juice than scoobies, the ex bf used to get 250miles to £50 driving sensible, where id get 140-160max
should read ex's brother doh! lol
tank isnt that big on the evos, i wrote it wrong, to £50 juice i get 140-160miles tops, i think full tank is about £70 or so.
mines running about 370bhp, but tbh i dont drive it slow at all.

Most important fact to consider is if you have to ask about costs and don't like spending money on fuel, maintainance, insurance, modifying and general running, DONT BUY ONE.

as i posted earlier tommi maks and evo 7 have weaker engines.
i sold my xe and a couple of shares in work to pay for my evo, xe i got £4.5k back for towards the car, was paying a mortgage, bills, etc, and could still run it as a near daily, im on a fairly good wage but you dont have to earn mega to afford to run one

Are you lot fucking retarded?
I never said he can't afford it, I'm not aware of his salary and outgoings, thats none of my business.
What I meant was that you know they're gonna be heavy on fuel, you know they're going to be sky high insurance, you know they need to be serviced more regularly than most cars, you know the parts are expensive so you should either forget it all and get spending or opt. for a car with less financial commitment. CLOWNS!

If I was to own an Evo, I'd get everything done cheap or do it myself.
By the time it comes to sell on they aren't going to worth much anyway.

He didnt say he couldnt afford one, more like if he has to ask a question about running one then he shouldnt buy one.
Thegsi, are you saying you didnt research the running costs before you bought yours? You didnt ask the previous seller a single question about part prices etc?

It was fine when I got it. Just stupid Bosch making crap parts that don't last long.
(and the usual common VAG faults)

I was using mind as a daily in all weathers so was running 350bhp, cost to fill the tank was about £60 at the time and depending on who was driving (me or the wife) it would range between 120 to over 300 miles easy.
