Shouldn't have played gibbs and sagna, both have been out for ages and were not fit enough to cope yesterday.

You can't play ramsey and arteta in the same midfield it just doesn't work.

Agreed, I thought Vermaelen (TV5, sorry) looked uncomfortable too, having been played LB for a while.

As I said to Nath on Twatter last night... wonder strike that he'll never manage again, childlike defending, fell over and a very dubious penalty... we didnt deserve anythign from that game but nor did we deserve to lose 4 nil... cant legislate for 3 shots and 3 goals tbh. Peno was extremely dubious + if that was a peno then the one on our player about 10 mins later that was actually worse was most definately a peno. nothing came off for us either, if rvp had buried henrys flick on then could have been a diff end. agreed with tom that vermaelen looked out of sorts moved back into his regular CB position and was caught out numerous times. pitch was fkn awful and looks like koscielny is out for a little while now thanks to that. glad he brought henry on at half time but i woudl have been tempted to bring AOC on at the same time as he bamboozled them on the few occasions he got a chance to drive at them.

very veyr deflated, just hoping it doesnt have a knock on effect for the next 2 weekends

Yeah cracking goal against Barca in the group stages. Seen him a score nice volleyed goal from the edge of the area against Juventus as well.

Is this where me and the United fans chat about how this is a prestigous competition and we want to win it?

Looking forward to seeing Eriksen, hopefully he'll put in a good performance as he may well be in England next season.

That the massive no. 4? Looks a beast.

Average half really. Surprised it wasn't a peno at the end tho.

Usual English team bias from the commentators assuming that the opposition are useless clowns.

I dont get what these clowns are talking about. I've not heard anybody saying how United should breeze past Ajax. Random.

This season perhaps they mean? As so far they couldn't manage the champions league?

fair enough ajax didnt buy their squad and there's only a few big hames, but they are all decent players who have a philosophy like barca players have thats drummed in from an early age

Hernandez scores from outside the 6 yard box

Very nice goal that

Why did the commentator sound so shocked that utd were making a sub before?
