Progress has been slow but steady!

Due to having no job I haven't been buying anything, just cleaning and doing jobs I already had the parts for!

Changed the handbrake cable, which was a pain as I've never really attempted anything like it before..

Thought i'd clean & spray my battery tray

Whilst doing so I noticed signs of a leak on my header tank, so I tried to repair it (no pictures) but then that failed too..

Nothing a good old scrap yard visit couldn't sort out!

And after a clean..

Then fitted

At this point the car was running as I wanted it and so I set about looking at the Lensos.

Back when I bought the car the front passenger had a leak and it popped off the bead (picture somewhere in this thread) so I popped it in the bath (lol ) so find the leak and took it to the garage and just got it resealed!

So..

As of today, she sits like this.

Pretty happy!

Few more shots

Lovely car. Arches and bumper tops look like they could do with some blacking up and the boot needs to be debadged.

And this car definitely, DEFINITELY needs Opelising

Did a bit of colour correction on my mums car!

Also forgot to mention about the whole fiasco of my car being crashed into. Van driver cut me up on a roundabout.. I was in the middle lane and he cut into my lane for no reason and wedged my car between a car and his van. He tried driving off but I chased and stopped him and he denied all knowledge -.- waiting to hear back from his company.

Never ending problems.

Don't worry about it bro as we'll get the car sorted! definately gotta look into getting this sitting level thought. Bumpertops and arches in a dark grey would be my choice.
