One is a computer program designed to 'cheat' the system with a sync button. Its requires 0 skill and is looked down upon by any dj. I wouldnt ever use traktor because its fucking amateur
Tbh i dont know why im wasting my time with you if your using traktor great learn to dj. Just please dont try and know what your talking about.

your the fool here read this thread. i learnt on CDJ's all self taught, i got traktor to get with the times so i didnt need countless cd wallets. i can spin music all day if i wanted its not hard - but obviously my skills are inferior to that of yours so il just accept your a top level dj you obviously know traktor inside out so must be part of the design team at NI or something thus you should know you do or dont have to use a sync function, youl also realise that unless traktor can read the beatgrid of EVERY single mp3 you have your sync function is fucked so you need to be able to beatmatch wether you use sync or not else you trainwreck - know what that means noob? didnt think so
go play with your corsa 1.2 kid, im sick of reading your bullshit posts in an otherwise constructive thread. do us all a favour and fuck off

his only answer is that theres no sync button on cdj's. lets just let him stick with that point, safe in the knowledge that we know enough to know he's wrong

To be fair Traktor is hardy an amateurs abit of software. It's pretty much changed the way people DJ in the last 5-6years. Loads of big name DJ's use it either by syncing it up (which if you look into it, it's just not a case of pressing the sync button, but you have to go and beat grid ALL your music for this to work 100% prefect) or you can use either CDJ's or turntable with timecoded CD's if you still like the feel of beatmatching.
The newest version of Traktor has started drifting over to the more live feel of DJ'ing, you can drop in small samples or even break a track down in to parts, NI the makers of Traktor have just released a new controller as well called the Kontrol F1 which lets you fire of clips like in Ableton but within Traktor.

Very nice, I'm trying to find a decent but budget cdj to add to my setup if you've any suggestions? Looking at a numark ndx400. Only need one because my controller allows me to alternate the side it mixes from/to
