If I just go about my life then years will pass me by, ive explained why the chances of me meeting someone whilst 'going about my life' are minimal. There is no fate but we make, if you want something you have to make it happen unless you get lucky with a chance encounter.
My interpersonal skills are fine, I have no problem chatting to males or females at any level or from any walk of life. It is just being in the right place to be around the right people to engage in the first place, see my previous point these oppertunities are minimal.
Trust me you need very good communcation skills to craft messages on POF that will get replies. I see it as an oppertunity for first contact and try not to go more then 2 weeks before meeting. I think its important to get to know them face to face and not through 100`s of texts/emails.
Thus POF is great for engaging someone that you know has similar interests etc to yourself, as you will know this from reading their profile. You dont know fuck all about a woman standing in a bar other then wether shes got udders or a pert ass.

All a site is doing is giving a link. If you get so nervous you come across as a mong on every first date its THEN that you need to develop people skills.
TBF though, a free site is always likely to fill up with people not wanting anything serious. At least when someones paid to join they give a bit more of a shit
