I do agree with what you're saying but Ronaldo proving himself at United and Madrid isn't exactly all that impressive either? Considering he moved from one great team surrounded by awesome players (bearing in mind he had Tevez, Rooney etc), to an even better group of players? To be honest, the only player I can think of in world football right now who is shining even though the group around him isn't that great is RVP.
