I don't understand why you aren't completely ashamed, instead you are posting legal documents on a Corsa forum?
I'd imagine if it got out that you had done that, the courts wouldn't look too kindly on it and it probably wouldn't help your case a huge amount.

the bottom of the letterhead is enough to prove it's real
I'm genuinely interested to hear his views on the situation.

I don't know one solicitor who types or proof reads their own letters. Most dictate a letter which in turn is either typed up by an in-house secretary or out of house firms specialising in typing documents so it's unlikely the solicitor is to blame directly

I must confess, I got caught DD in my youth
I was arrested on the spot (obviously) taken to the local nick and breathalised again on the calibrated machine.
As soon as I blew over on that I was charged. No negotiation, no interviews etc.
My understanding of a police station duty solicitor is that they are made available if you are arrested and are pending interview...in this case presumably for the TWOC. So I've no idea why any mention of the DD is mentioned in the letter as that offence is a done deal.
Makes you wonder what the point of the letter is in the first place, other than telling him to contact the magistrates court duty solicitor

Ultimately charged for multiple counts of TWOC, driving otherwise in than in accordance with a license, not displaying learner plates, no insurance, 1 case of aggregated TWOC, can't remember the rest but there were some thirty off charges on my charge sheet!! And I can laugh about it

If I had done this I would be way too embarrassed to tell anyone. I reckon you're kind of pleased with yourself. All this about wanting to find out what you can expect is a front. Why the fuck would you take someone's car then post on a car forum about it? You really are a numpty.
