Provided people have accepted the rules via a method of communication then it forms a contract doesn't have to be pen and paper signed.

If they haven't said anything it cannot be binding. (i.e if i don't hear from you i'll take it you have accepted)

Emails are fine and should hold up in court.

(Above better be right as have a law exam on monday as does Matt L )
