Crap from which perspective? The Nexus 4 is only available in seven countries and has received very limited promotion. I'd say constant OOS has got to be, to some extent, satisfactory for Google.
Only in the sense that it could be in the millions by how had they had the stock. A phone that has one of the best, if not the best, specs on the market and almost 1/2 the price, can't say they didn't expect demand.

I just got one of these, great fit. Was sceptical at price, having paid a load for a similar for my desire but was surprised. I prefer the flip covers to the side and back covers.

Check that the sim card doesn't have a push out bit to it. I thought I had the wrong size at first from giffgaff but you can push a section out of the sim so it fits

Absolutely loving the 4. Screen is amazing and I'm just starting to play with custom home screens and widgets. Reckon it won't be too long till I can design my own.
My only gripe is the keyboard. Just little things like having to hold a button for a comma. The one on my desire HD was better. Also had to download a different browser to play flash videos (BBC sport/streaming football) Aside from that though its awesome.

I use the swiftkey keyboard which is only a press for comma. Installed it because it was what I was used to on my old phone so don't know how it compares to the stock one

Yup, use Swiftkey here also and it works well. And Adobe removed support for mobile flash hence it not working out-of-the-box; but as you've mentioned you can use another browser or hunt out the APK for the last version of mobile flash.

Swiftkey is awesome. Can pretty much just mash the keyboard and it gets what i meant. The swiping to delete is a nice feature too!
Cheers to Dom for sorting me out with the full version file

You can get Swiftkey Flow beta for free which as the 'swipe' functionality like the default 4.2 keyboard.

So all-in-all everybody is happy with the Nexus 4? My contract is up soon (can upgrade now) and was considering getting one of these on a £10 SIM-only.

Hello Daniel,
Thank you for contacting us.
Unfortunately at this time we have no information on when we will receive the next shipment of Nexus 4 devices. Please keep checking the Google Play Store and we will have information updated once we receive it.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to let me know and I will answer them as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Heather

edit:
To be fair though, I sent an email asking about it at 830 and by the time I had driven to work (15 mins) that response was waiting for me

Obviously because they're trying to push their cloud services. Google Play for music is awesome, 20,000 songs, free to stream from your phone, web browser, etc.

Tried it, uploaded a load of songs, got the app, started to stream muisc and it just constantly buffered and skiped. Moved back to the standard music player
plus in the 2 minutes I tried it it used 200mb of data
The networks aren't ready for cloud services.
On another note, a Beta version of Chrome for Android is out (version 25 in line with the desktop, previous version being 18)
