lol, quite!
keep sayign this to everyone who says Wenger out, who the fuck exactly do you want to come and take over? Mourinho? He wouldnt come unless we gave hima big fat chequebook. Guardiola? Def a possibility but in many ways is unproven as lets be honest, my dead nan could probably have managed that barcelona side and he has made some very poor signings (the less obvious ones that is) abnd lost out to RM last season shortly before bailing - a risk even if he would come. other than them 2, who the fuck else is there?
something needs to change and i refute the fact that the quality isnt there (depth issues aside), this side should be easily good enough to beat the likes of villa and norwich away from home and swansea at home, we are just missing some steel and options, hence everyone lookign tired and lethargic. Arteta is stifled in the fake DM role and sides worked out very quickly afte rthe chelsea defeat that mark him out the game and we are done for. we need quality in quickly (Falcao would be a great signal of intent, even if it cost the earth to get him but of course we wont). Huntelaar is a tad pointless, CL-tied, not far off 30 and struggled to integrate at Real and Milan even if his stats were still decent.
Zaha for Walcott is moronic at this stage, and also if w elose Walcott in Jan then we are well and truly fucked. i just dont see who the fuck we can sign to turn things around

Well, quite. 99.9% never goign to happen but we suppsoedly have this £150m from Emirates and potentially anothjer £25m per season from adidas so how about we use it and make a massive signal of intent.
not gonna happen though but still

cant really disagree mate ha. he has, in the main, been outstandign thus far this season but is he just doing a Flamini and playign well tos ecure another deal? realistically he hasnt signed a new contratc yet and in less than 30 days he cna sign a pre-contratc with a club abroad. we can ahrdly sell Nasri/RVP for the money but then hold onto Walcott and lose him for free.

All depends on who else would be after their signature.

I reckon Walcott is off. He would have signed by now if he wanted to stay.
And if he does go then fuck him.

Both true. We are still a top club, irrespective of current scenario, hence being able to get the likes of Cazorla and poldi in in the summer but if things carry on the way they are then we will be moving into Liverpool territory and you can hardly say they are able to attract top players. these players need to turn things round sharp-ish and hope for some re-inforcement in January (even if I cant see who we would bring in to make thigns change unless we spend big)
definitely worried atm, not the worst ive evr seen us play but there was something very very different about saturday to any game ive seen us play before

whilst he makes all the right noises abotu wanting to stay, a) so did rvp and b) he just a footballer at the end fo the day. cant really disagree with the first point, hes had 18 months effectively to sign a new cotnract and now that there ar less than 30 days til 1st jan, genuinely cannot see him re-signing.
and if he goes, then yep, fuck him.

Is Theo after more money than he's being offered, or does he want to be played where he'd prefer? Or both?

I'd rather see us in Div 3 with players that want to play for the club, than finish 4th with a load of mercenaries holding the club to ransom.

i know it sounds OTT after a few bad displays but i genuinely do feel like we're teetering on the edge of moving into liverpool-situation territory if we cant turn things round before the new year. last season it was the 5-2 win voer spurs that did it for us, but we juist did the exact same thing not 2 weeks ago and yet still find ourselves int he same territory!!!

Both. He should be given a chance up front, but he's asking for more money than is offered too.

Apparently, we have offered £75k a week and wont go a penny higher. He apparently wants £100k effectively making him our best paid player, alogn with Poldi and Arshavin (as a consequence of signing him so late in the Jan window). again apaprently, wenger has said they will not go above £75k, hence the seeming stalemate. He has been very influential this season and both |RVP and Giroud looked a lot better playign with him, even if he is frutsrating. Im sure they could agree around £90k but seems unlikely at this stage
He constantly says he wants to be played a striker and wenger says he will get a chance but he is our top scorer as well as top provider this seaosn from the wing so why the desperation to change.
due to RVP et al, my default setting with footballers is now that they are all (JW10 aside), cunts who are msotly interested in only one thing (i will give RVP some credit that he went to Utd rather than City but still) so im going wuith its the money.

I'm still not convinced JW10 won't be off at the first call from Barca etc al.

Who the fuck would pay him £100k?! I think he'll stay purely because nobody else is going to value him at that mark.
