I'd rather be a lawyer in a mondeo than a builder in a ferrari

Indeed it is. Bit like this thread. As Willay said, it's all getting a bit daft now but it was fun all the same.
Thanks for everybody's comments

I've learnt a lot from this thread. Mainly my cars no where near as cool as I thought it was

Yeh. I've learnt that regardless of real life experience, 10 years of using the same body shop with fantastic results, looking around and working a car 12" from your nose in the day light for days on end and having confidence in your own car's paintwork that you know better than anyone means fuck all compared to an opinion on CS documented by a 1280x960 jpeg.

Evo looks like its crabbing down the road to me, probably been hit by a train at some point and had all the panels velcro'd back on.
I can just tell, you might not of noticed though.

My boxster was 7.5k I'll have you know. I'm fairly happy in my poor lifestyle with my poor mans car. People will point and laugh at me for being a hairdresser, not my terrible tattoos or terrible paint. What's worse, you decide.

Sarcasm applied in realisation that your bullshit comments regarding paint are in fact false and inaccurate.
I get it now.

No sarcasm, I've definitely not realised anything new about the paint, it's visible in every single picture.

I didnt say it was a poor mans car, its a poor mans way of owning a porsche compared the the rest of the modern range...

I didn't buy it to own a porsche, I bought it because it was local and I fancied a car. If it was a megane r26 or any of the others I was looking at which came up, I'd have one of them instead.
If I want a more expensive one at any point I'll go and buy one.
This is still all completely irrelevant.
I know where John bought his car from btw, if it's only been clocked he'll be doing well.

If the car came from Keighley then this thread is going to get even more crazy edit to say this isn't the case now
Anyway nice cars, love the s14! New wheels suit it just fine. You both always seem to get arsey with any bad comment towards your car but that doesn't bother me, makes for good reading.
Boxsters may well be cheaper than a 911 but they're still great cars and definitely nothing to laugh about, IMO

The way some people are going on, you would think the Boxster S was the cheapest Porsche you can buy.
Pretty sure you can pick up a 928 for about £1k.

Same, always going to be drama when negative feedback gets such a strong bite. Quite cringe-worthy how aggressively they both jump to each others' defense when something is criticised, but damn good reading
I love both the cars, for the record

They bring it upon themselves with the way they act on here tbh. Reading through their project threads with the constant colon tonguing they do to each other is sad reading.
