How can you tell its warped rather than pad deposit build up?? You won't see the build up, which would surely give off the warped feel??
What temperature would cast iron need to be at for it to start bending?? Melting point?? Is it even possible to get to that temperature on a car without other components failing i.e fluid boiling up etc??

They don't need to melt to warp, the just need to heat up unevenly or be of a shape/structure that causes warping as the disk will begin to expand long before it starts to melt/glow.

Need to link random pictures of supercar wheels to have any credibility tbh. Lack of any real facts is an added bonus.

Ed China says that they can warp, so as far as I'm concerned - they can warp.

Erm, what
Believe me, it pains me to side with Steve but in regards to drilling discs he is right.

Oh yeah, drilling discs is a huge no no.
But my googled images were purely in relation to steves comments that drilled discs were a gimmick. There wasn't any conversation about self drilled discs at that point.
That was all, nothing more. If I've got the wrong end of the stick with regards to your replies, then apologies.

I drive the car, feel the shudder through either the wheel(front brakes) or pedal (rear brakes), remove the discs and pads, machine the discs, fit new pads and machined discs, drive the car, no shudder.
Could you just not be machining the pad material bedded into the discs?
Like steve says of cause..
