That's the first climb from tonight's ride I did. No idea where I was but there was snow on the tops. Got a puncture which was really nice then fell off a lot of times. Good fun.

You can get tyres that have a smooth running surface with nobbly grippy bits just off the running part so as soon as you go into loose stuff or mud it will grip .... used to have them on my mtb before I got a hybrid/road bike and they were excellent

Just got back from the vets £58 lighter two skinned pads and a cut one consistent with taking a tumble said the vet. Leave off for a few days until they heel up.

had nobblies on mine and did a road ride of 20'ish miles - was hard work
got some road tyres, did same route week later and so much easier.
Now got Specialized road bike - its like riding on fresh air its so easy - did 7 miles further in 15 mins less time

Anyone got tips on removing a stubborn pedal? Gave it a good dousing in PlusGas yesterday but it's still stuck. Other one loosened easily but really struggling with this one.
And yes I'm definitely trying to turn it in the right direction.

Did a quick 15kms today and it killed me! Not been on the bike in about 4 months and I'm quite shocked how hard it was. Doesn't help that it was about 28 degrees and windy. Going again tomorrow. No pain no gain.

Rode Forest of Dean yesterday and learnt I fucking love uplifts! Rode Macc today and did all the uphill and got a fucking puncture on the first part of the downhill on my Soul. Proper pissed me off as I left my camelback at home with my spare tube and pump in it! Had to do a 3 mile push home.
On a side note if anyone wants any forks servicing then I am setting up a sideline/business doing it. Competitive pricing and a quick turn around. I will be doing rear shocks shortly once my nitrogen charge kit arrives.

seems a lot of people are jumping on the fork servicing bandwagon lately oh and don't post with royal mail lol. Rick the forest of dean has uplift I didn't know that thought bpw was the only full uplift service in the uk even though cwmcarn also has an uplift service

I know I am quite late to the party! I've been servicing stuff for my mates and myself for years. I've done everything from Mag21's to Fox 40's so I figure I might as well have a push at it too seen as I really don't like my job!
Going to try to make a proper go of it, if you don't try then you cannot moan. Plus if it does not work I have all the tools in place after trying to make doing my own forks far, far easier.

did you go on the proper course so you can be an approved fox service technician as fox are a little funny about people doing repairs and servicing especially stuff that still has warranty unless your names mojo lol
