Pretty shit effort of 'terror'
Hijacking a plane and making it dissapear completely is a shit effort at terror?
Essentially kidnapping 200 odd passengers and millions of pounds worth of aeroplane.
And having a way of disabling every type of tracking/signalling on a aeroplane?
How is that a shit effort of terror?
Not saying I think it's a terrorism by the way. But if it is. It's a fucking good'en

No point doing terrorism if no one knows you did it.

Just read that a the plane was in the trajectory of a north Korean missile, which could've hit it as it came down from 20km's up.
Tin foil hats on please.

No but if they've taken the plane. Landed it somewhere. There now spending a few days getting the backdrop for there video set up and the script wrote out properly.
Trying to select the right company to film it and everything.

It's probably mythbusters trying to re-enact the fast and furious 40 mile runway scene.

CIA have reported they have received claims of responsibility but not confirmed them yet. Which might be a tactic to lessen the impact a terrorist organization would have?

If its crashed there is no monetary gain to knowing where it is.

Disagree completely. If it was due to faulty software doing something, failure of a part that was captured by the black box etc The cockpit commentary might indicate what it was then its valuable information to learn and prevent further accidents and possible loss of further planes

Based on a few assumptions -
Loss like this happens regularly.
The plane will otherwise not be found.
It doesn't, and it probably will.

Exactly.
Terrorists like to publicise everything.
Although this is in the news regarding its disappearance, it has not been linked to terrorists and no one has come forward.
It hasn't made people worry in the same way that 9-11 did.
How many people are thinking they may not get a flight after this? Not a huge amount.
How many did after 9-11?
If it is part of a larger plot of terrorism, then fine, but at the moment it does not fit the bill.

You talking about the satellite images (HERE)?
It's no doubt a lengthy process sifting through images, doing any analysis on them and then organising crew to search said photographed locations (which i believe they have now done) - so it's no surprise it's taken 'til now before we've heard anything.

This could explain how a plane disappears

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

See my post above, they have. Not confirmed obviously, and I personally do not think it is a terrorism related incident. But groups have claimed responsibility. They are either seeking to confirm these (could just be bandwagons), or they are withholding information until the wreckage has been found or it is a tactic to lessen the impact of terror by the intelligence agencies/gov.

One of the theories I read was that one of the pilots could of waited until the other left the cockpit, locked the door then committed suicide. Hence no communications to say the plane was in trouble. I guess it is a possibility

I think people are reading too much into the no communication thing?
If there was a structural failure, or the plane stalled. They would be trying to fly it/save it, not radioing they are in trouble. I think that pretty much illustrates that something like a stall, or structural failure occurred, they tried to reduce altitude or regain control, and crashed. Would have happened very quickly.

You see the PPRUNE thread? They were talking about a secret airfield on a remote island.

My theory is it changed course (possible communications problems) and someone shot it down..
