I don't get the side windows either tbh
Can't explain the gravel garden I have no idea what that is for. Quite confused by it.
And yeah it's a 3 bed semi detached. I couldn't afford a 4 bedroom detached, maybe later in life.
They gravel might be used to aid with draininage, is flooding an issue there?
no flood risks, be drainage for the new turf perhaps then.
They were levelling off the front garden and driveway area when I went for a look on my lunch break. They are getting on with it nicely. Can't wait to see inside.

Went to have a talk with the company today, might be likely that I will get the keys sooner than anticipated. They had said February, might be moving in before the end of this year now. Good news really.

That is good news, though i'd be a bit worried about the thought of moving in to what is in essence a building site as i'm guessing a lot more houses are being built?

Won't be building anything for a year or 2. There is plenty of access that won't be using the actual roads in the estate when they do build. The sort of corner/junction my house is on they have built all the ones around it. Only when they build behind I guess but as I say that won't be for about a year.
Guess it's one thing people face when buying a new build on a growing estate.

We did when in 1988. Don't see the issue.

Depends what hours you work I guess. I'm on 3 shift so sleep would be impossible for me. Also I wouldn't enjoy the dust accumulation.
Btw I was born in 1988 you old tosser.

In the times I've been to the estate I can't say I have ever noticed any dust issues anywhere actually. It obviously will be due to the building but it's not been noticeable.

Most noticeable places will be on cars and windows.
Nothing terrible, I just hate cleaning windows, mainly because I don't trust ladders.

I have this issue. Currently living with filthy gutters as I don't have the courage to get up a ladder and clean them

Had a bike to the house earlier. The drive way is down, and there was a tiling company parked on it doing work inside. So that looks quite promising, must have all the plastering done and dry to be that far on. Didn't see the back to see if the fence was done yet.

I believe they have to provide a certain number of affordable homes when they get the go ahead for a new build/estate?
It's a nice house in a nice area, Internet can think what it likes tbh.

Need to get quotes for a fitted wardrobe and also removal company costs even though it is only a local move will still cost a bit I reckon. Probably looking at 1500 for the wardrobe at a guess. December will be a costly month.
