He isnt a bad prospect, was never going to get near the level to push for a place in our team, but can see him doing alright with you lot for the time being, and he may well make a step up and be a good player.

Bit of a gamble for Wenger to take, but he's taken risks before and done well, but he's also not been as successful in other deals.

Matthew, I'm not really talking about the relevence of cost of the players involved in past deals - more so that they were risks that have succeded where they could easily of failed and left Arsenal struggling.
Look at SenderDROSS - pure shit in boots but sometimes he HAS to be played as there is no other option, that could easily of been the same for Clichy, might of turned out to be a steaming pile whoi had to play as there was no alternative - but he's not, he's class.
All I'm saying is that Nasri could go either way

Before 'that' injury last season he was on course to be a great buy, but that injury happened and a lot depends on how he recovers and if it's affected his physical or mental ability - does anyone (Robbo?) know what the latest is on his situation?
