well theres nothing left to rebuild and im not forking out for another vxr, when it was on the dyno the actuator was sticking and some times going up to 1.8 bar it was over 270 bhp on one of the runs which is a bit much for it really. plan is flog what i can off the engine and v6 it for nice and cheap, i want to build a forged 1.8 bottom end but i cant be arsed with it anymore just selling the ecu will buy me a v6 plus more and then save up for an evo like ive always wanted

Cringe worthy that is... internal wise the engines aint built with the quality and thought of say for example the astra's, dunno if you have read about some of the issuses even with a simple map they can spit the dummy out totaly...

well when i had it set up first even a 200 bhp the injectors hit the limit at 5k and it was running lean after that, i fitted some saabs but they only gave me 240 before the limit so thats why we were worried about it overboosting so be wary of it. it had a slight knocking start a couple of days ago then it smoked a bit before it went the hole in the little end of the rod looks stretched

it was on the limiter when it went boost was about 1.3 bar but it had been going over that due to a dodgy actuator
