Not for £25m no. If they come in with something stupid then maybe. I seriously doubt it though unless Masch comes out and requests a move.
Same goes for Alonso who Real are sniffing around very closely right now.

I can't see alonso to madrid, I think as has been said he just needs a bit of attention from rafa to show he's loved, mascherano is the one i'm worried about most, although I can't see us selling for £25m, but throw a couple of players in and we may do business.

I actually dont think Athletico will sell him this summer, just cant see it.
The thing with Masch, if its true anyway, is he got a good signing on fee but he is only on 25k a week, so Im guessing this could be a good negotiating point.
It would take a bid well over £30m for us to sell either of them.

Agreed, he's not been making loud noises about moving either and hopefully torres would convince him not to go to the land of scum either
Yeah it's pretty unbelievable he's on that little so hopefully we can get him up there with the rest of the senior squads wages and make him feel a bit better
I'm hopeful we are gonna start the season in a better place relatively compared to the rest of the top 4 at the start of last season.

Well United are just a feeder club and no one wants to go there so hopefully even without any signings we are stronger than them already!
I still think we'll probably end up with Silva (being that Real will sign Ribery and not him).

I think the chance of Madrid signing Silva instead of Ribery is quite high. The rumours are Bayern want such a stupid price for him Madrid are just not willing to pay it, therefore Silva is still a great option for the left and he's Spanish which is what the fans want.

The thing is Robery have come out and said he wants the move, which changes everything.
They are just using the Silva link to show Bayern that they have other options.

Which indeed they do. If Bayern are still adament on the insane price for him the potential deal will stall and Silva will be at Real Madrid. I thought Benitez said the club wasn't going to bid for Silva etc ?

It just depends on what Madrid do. They acted stupidly fast for Benzema so you just never know how fast they will just move for Silva instead of Ribery.
