Keep it and finish it.Very rarely see project cars these days getting finished.Big plans that never happen.
Your car could be a decent wee track car.

Cant you just keep it as a track car the way it is and get something more comfy for a daily??

Na cant afford it at the minute due to working part time, I could buy another toy in time for next summer. It's not 100% certain yet but I'm definately considering it.

I also need to respray the passenger side wing mirror cover as it got a stone chip in it and the paint flaked off when I washed it before

Quickshift is bought, might even arrive tomorow

Done 90% of the things I wanted to do to it, I can always buy another if I want to next year but if I buy another french tin it will be a 205 turbo with a sensible every day car.

I've probably spent the asking price in the past 8 months that's just the recent conversion and other bits and bobs, at the end of the day it's an N reg 106 with a few modifications, it's never going to fetch the money that an 8v or a 16v converted Rallye would go for, well over 2k, they hold their value well. It's not a perfect show car, it was built to have fun and abuse every day so it has it's battle scars. It's a good car though, if it doesn't sell then I'll keep it and do a few more things to it and try again after xmas when people have the money. I could put the price up really but I want a quick sale.

Not too sure, I dont use it that much to notice any of that stuff

Car is off eBay now, price was at 1400 for a quick sale, had one person interested but not heard from him in a few days. I'll fix a few little niggles and stick it up in the new year for around 1500-1600.

That's the going rate for them mate, I paid £750 for it standard

It's a good car, does exactly what it was built for but I'm not on cloud 9 when it comes to valuations if the paintwork was mint I would have had it up for about 1700

No luck with the valver?

I'm sure you'll get it sold John

Yeah Archie stick it up for less, maybe even on an auction and people will bid up to what it's worth, you might even be surprised what it goes for in the end.
