Huh? I've just copied and pasted?
I can guarantee no liverpool fans would of wanted Carroll before today.
There's talking about the past and then there is Liverpool talking about the past You go back years not just a season

1619: Interesting, very interesting. Apparently the odds on Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam joining Manchester United have plummeted in the last few minutes. He is now 1/4 to go there and only 5/2 to join long-term suitors Liverpool. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said last week of course that Adam is "worth £10m for his corners alone". Watch this space.

Interesting stats - if Liverpool pay £35million for Andy Carroll they are getting a player outscored in the Championship last season by Peter Whittingham, Nicky Maynard, Gary Hooper, Michael Chopra and Charlie Adam.
whos the one talking about the past now, at end of the day hes playin wel at the moment, just cos you dont want him t0 go
sadly at the moment he is not playing at all

Holloway says Adam wants to come to us so not suprised people have stopped putting money on him to MU!
Hearing that Carrol deal might be being exaggerated by NUFC? Some reckon it's more like £27m plus add-ons?

Andy Drury signing by Ipswich, courtesy of BBC Radio Suffolk. The Tractor Boys activated a £150,000 release clause in the 27-year-old's contract to take him to Portman Road.
Bad news for Luton, highly regarded as their best player. Although £150,000 isnt too bad i suppose.
Earned us £150k in 6 months and covers every player purchase this season. Can't grumble.
One way of looking it. A lot of Luton fans on Conf Forum saying that he could have been the difference betwen winning the league and the playoffs again and obviously getting back in the league is worth much much more than £150,000 but you cant do much if he had a release clause and you also cant stop him moving that far up the leagues.
Obviously if you get up anyway then it looks a good deal.
Joys of life in the conf, get ripped off all over the park.

Honestly if its £35m take it and run. You will survive this season without him and you have £35m to spend on massively strengthening the squad (if ashley allows it)
Carroll has potential no doubt, but similarly has the potential to end up like Joey Barton.

I'd rather keep him till the summer as we have no one. We can't rely on Ranger, Ameobi, lovenkrands and Best. Short term i see your point. But if we want to establish ourselves again then he is the future of Newcastle. Build a team around him.

More likely to be greedy than for the best of the club Wouldn't command that fee in the summer.

This is not my own work
Here's how this will play:
The 2nd bid which was rejected was actually nowhere near the amount Mike Ashley's PR officer on Sky was saying it was.
The 3rd bid will be accepted after much emotional turmoil for Ashley, probably quite late in the day so they can't spend their money and Saint Ashley can pocket the cash. The 3rd bid probably won't even be as much as the bid that has been 'rejected' is being made out by Sky.
We'll get Carroll, Ashley will get money and Newcastle fans will lose an idol and get dicked over. Again.

I did think that but if he wanted to make a quick buck he would do it. Unless he is holding out for £40mil from Liverpool

In the summer you will get £15m max. This fee (if its true) is only because they are panicking. With £35m you could strengthen the entire team from front to back.
Theres no guarantee Carroll will develop into a world class prem striker yet.
