Didn't meant any offence Ben. Suppose it suits the area you live in more though.

quite possibly the crappiest update ever, but nothings gone wrong on the car recently so i haven't had anything to fix or mess about with.

the seat rails have been annoying me ever since i bought it. they were covered in 10 years of grime and i couldn't figure out how i was going to clean them, so just left it.

today, i decided enough was enough and got my cotton buds out to remove as much crap as i could. unfortunately they're not 100% perfect, but it's such a tight space that it'll have to do.

almost up there with kyle's clock ocd, but at least i didn't have to buy anything. Although i did spend 20 minutes removing a 5p coin from the seat rails, was rather satisfying getting it out as it was jammed up. managed to find £1.45 altogether.

try cleaning them. it's a massive ball ache due to the lack of interior space and the huge transmission tunnel

ben it wasn't the most pleasant of jobs, but it's one that needed doing.

ideally i want to take the seats out but fear i'll not be able to get them back in.

Yeah I've had the pleasure of trying to retreave that tiny nut for the aux cable that I dropped down the side of the chair and it went under the runner some how. Had to unbolt them and lift it. Damn tight, I can only imagine my seats will be harder to access being the fat fuckers

i can try, although it'd need to be one with long bristles and and really small head. my finger couldn't even fit in there.

it's a good one tbh. beats using 50 cotton buds the ends kept falling off as they're so flimsy.

gave the car a good drive today, wish it had another 50 or so bhp. acceleration up to 70 is fine, it's in gear between 80-100 kph . it's probably quite quick, itjust doesn't feel it.

Could remove them and then soak them in something to loosen the dirt and then respray them?

It's certainly a cruiser but gets up past a ton in no time I don't think.

Just taken delivery of my vredesiens. Is it sad that they excite me?

Is it me or are these meant to follow the same pattern/direction? Both of the inside edges are together but pattern is going in opposite directions?

Not just me then, spent ages scratching my head.

There's quite lengthy thread on PH somewhere, everybody trying to work out how it could possibly be good for performance.

Google Images has this:

I'm sure there is some annotation somewhere to go with this picture, but I can't find it.
