So it's cheaper, quicker and much, much more reliable to buy a vxr?

you really havent understood any of the figures involved and generally i dont think you grasp what modifed cars are in the slightest john. id stop looking in here if you judge things like this without any knowledge on the subject. its a big shame when things like this happen to people. uneducated people like yourself shouldnt comment in a way like you did.

Having fun building it is all very well, the aim was to build a car though, not just to build something then get no use out of it.

I definitely don't understand building it, wasting a fortune then blowing it up before it's served it's purpose.

thats not what you said. you said it costs more than a vxr, wrong, its slower, wrong and its less reliable. technically wrong, as its a vxr engine, therefore the same would have happened in a vxr.

you really just dont understand anything about cars, or performance, or value of things.

going picking a c25xe up next week at some point. its cheap and easy and i like the noise. might build another turbo motor at some point but i really dont think i can be arsed. soon as the vxr lump is out il get some pics of the damage

right change of plan slightly. vxr engine number 2 is on its way. leaving the standard turbo on it this time as i dont want another expensive paperweight sat around.
