Ahh A standard smallblock 16v bay, So many things can be done to make them look better, without going as far as I did!

Alex so many things can be done cos they're so cluttered with shit from factory such a bitch to work on too, i hate it. Was looking through your thread the other day actually trying to find some inspiration. Hopefully will end up getting it fairly presentable though.

I was never happy with mine. With yours. I'd hide a load of the wiring (Takes a little time, but worth it IMO) Hide the SAI valve (You'll need it plugged in, but not vaccum'ed up to keep the EML off), Paint rocker cover, lower inlet, throttle body, tidy the injector wiring a bit further, re-route the throttle cable between eitheer 2/3 or 3/4 inlet track, hide map sensor down back of block, battery bag, Blank SAI bit on the manifold (Although I know you said you want a 4-2-1, the standard one isn't that bad though!) remove the plastic overcoving from the HT leads and route them nicely (plus a nice cover, I had a carbon one but whatever really), then a good clean.
All IMO of course, just a little of what I did on mine. Just painting stuff and cleaning makes a huge differance, but as you know, attention to detail is the key.

Yup, that's the plan dude. Gonna try and do the most i can with it in the bay as i really can't be asked dropping the engine out. Mostly trying to hide stuff and re-route wiring/pipes and painting bits up for now. Definitely does need a proper good clean though
Cleggy, got them from crazy led's dude, only a few quid

No worries dude
Got it all sorted now. Pretty much redone it all today. Extended the loom for the egr to run it as normal as i can't be fucked having the eml on all the time. Runs nice with no codes so far so fingers crossed it's sorted. Definitely pulls better . Now it's running properly I can concentrate on trying to tidy it up. Any recommendations for cleaning the bay? Is it just a case of degreaser of sorts, agitate then carefully hose down?

Don't give me any ideas Kieran!
Shitty quick update. Been getting some more bits painted up recently. I'll let the pics do the talking.
Skirts, mirror baseplate triangle bits, mirror interiors. Scuttle panel is being done too. It's all in the little details.
Just trying to work towards getting it looking more and more presentable. Slow slow progress at the minute as funds are tight and I seem to just be doing shitty cheap/free stuff lol

Haha, they've been demoted to my winter wheels. I have to admit, there is just something about them that I love everytime I put them on. I do prefer my OZ turbo's for show wheels though. I need to make some space in the garage and get rid of all my other wheels now that you mention it. Need to refurb the speedlines and sxi's and get 'em shifted!

Get a smaller front plate on there, you seem to run with it on for most photos so might aswel get a neater one

Cheers Mark hopefully the weather this year will be better than last Really wanna get the rear quarter blown in for this year but just don't know if I'll be able to get it done. We'll see when it gets a bit warmer stuff.
Has crossed my mind Gav. I keep it on generally for everyday driving, keeps the cops off my ass. Will be coming straight off for shows though
