Absolutely gorgeous Dale!! Youve put that togeather very quickly. Manifold is lovely, lets hope it stays that white!
What power are you expecting once run in etc?
Yer deadlines to meet, want to do TOTB this year...
Not after more power just safer engine and this was best way,
I doubt it will be much over 500 due to fuel pump I need to put another one in..

Looking absolutely sensational I really love the attention to detail.
One thing that would bug me though is that bloody purple fuel rail.
Not fancy getting it re-anodised black?
maybe its just me.
Nope it annoys me too, I can list loads I want to change but that's not my main thing at present..

Really nice job! But I dislike that IC, ruins the front.
Does it need one that big?

As Ben said its all about intake temp, last night was getting 9c intake them but it was light throttle... But the key is getting rid of the heat.. I have though about getting new garrett core cooler but I don't see why I should if this works spot on and if its not as efficient I have wasted my money.....

Well a few people know Ive been having problems with the HKS headgasket Monty has, Ben also has had issues with his!! Cars been running fine but i noticed the coolant level dropping everytime i drove him, pressure tested no external leaks. Checked catch tank full of coolant.... Thats never good! Dropped the oil out as I was still on mineral oil covered about 400 miles, coolant came out but not a massive amount. Also noticed oil leaking from headgasket under the cam sensor, no oil coming from any higher which was annoying.. Head off time
With head off it was confirmed he wasn't burning oil, not cracks. The head was skimmed and block decked before building.. Only place it could leak from was here and water passing to the block breathing.
Both mine and Bens have now got 2 holes in the water ways, Bens was drilled by supplying company and mine was drilled by SBS in slightly different place but both have failed never the less, mine less than Bens though
Bens gasket
New gasket ontop old gasket
Bens Old gasket which never failed compared to new gasket holes marked on
Both mine and Bens new gaskets were part of a new batch of head gaskets. We are waiting to hear back from supplying company as they advised the 2 holes.... With Bens 1 hole he never had any issues
Time to rebuild using a cometic as there is clearly an issue with the HKS gasket there wasn't before. Not happy about it but needs must as its being mapped on Friday. Drained all coolant from block
Had abit of nightmare snapped bolt in manifold marked the manifold GRR which isn't as white anymore.. But fair play to SBS I met him Monday morning at 8am to collect headgasket and inlet manifold gasket, drill my manifold so i could crack on building him back up. We Measure head all ok...
Have done 25 miles of cheap semi synth oil as I'm not putting millers in until im happy, dropped the oil no coolant so thats a plus, also gives it a flush
All back together
Crap weather at present so spent time cleaning catch tank out, fingers crossed will do some miles tomorrow as mapping is on Friday

It was fun but not all the time, I like to do B road driving and track days too..
Cheers fella, was good to chat, need to get my burn outs better... You get up and go what were your 60ft times? My reactions were ok... Overall I'm happy with the cars performance in its current state not stripped out with spare wheel and tools I'm etc it did well to get 11.9 @126! It also did ok in handling circuit which was way too twisty and sort for my set up..

Looked good yesterday. The colour of the wheels suit it well.
That's a good time, how did you get on with the handling bit? Watched you do a couple of runs on that.
