They should have been entitled to around £4m. Apparantly they needed to submit a written contract offer to him by the end of May though to be entitled to it and only gave him a verbal offer

Man City being linked to everyone is boring now! We've been linked to Bridge, but I know at shitty he will be on huges wages! Remy seems to be a done deal aswell, not sure on him though, I bet hes the 'next henry'!
Remy is far from a done deal, I think this is a case of his agent trying to bump up his price/the fact he's come out and stated he (remy himslef) wants to play for liverpool.
he hasnt technically, he has said that liverpool need to match west hams bid, but your trying to do a player swap which isnt happning
also hodgson said he isnt going to sign a player he has never seen
Who hasn't technically [done what]?
havent seen any direct quotes from remy, all from his agent, who are trying to get liverpool to up there bid to match ours, the only favored move ive seen written about is going to le-arse
your lot want to offer less but with 2 players (El Zahar and Plessis ) and your orginal offer, which isnt what nice want, there president is just continuing the bidding war
we might be getting Milton Caraglio's though, but he is more of a left winger, still leaving a centre forwards to get if we play 433 in grants favoured system

Seems Milner is set to leave Villa once City meet their 'valuation'. If I were Villa I'd ask for £20m + Stephen Ireland.

Ireland is a good player. Would be good to sign him but that's not going to happen

If I were Villa I'd ask for £50m + Ireland then mention that Man United are interested. City will then stump up immediately.

I don't get why players of that calibre would go to City, there are fucking dozens of them already.
Let him go and fuck his career up, very few of those that have signed have a long term future there.

He's out of favour and has been thrown about as a make weight in a few potential deals.
That, and City are fucking idiots.

They want to be part of the "exciting project" thats going on at City.
Nothing to do with the fact that City will pay them by far and away more than anyone else will.

Agreed about Milner fucking his career up by going to City. Unless he plays week in week out which i'm not sure he will?

Looks like Masch is going soon, hopefully get £30 m or something stupid for him, I wouldnt mind Scott Parker to replace him!
Not been linked to any more left backs though!

^^ Agree re Scott Parker.
Also agree re milner, I couldn't even name there attacking players, infact even there midfield players. Milners would be silly to join the 'project' imo.

If he goes there he is going to be a squad player and will be foolish to join in the project.
Hopefully he has a bit about himself to not get involved with it

Can't wait for City to fail to get CL football once again. Their 'project' will become less and less attractive hopefully.

I dont really get why you'd want Parker to replace Masch, totally different positional wise imo.

It's not a like for like replacement. But you could always rely on scotty parker and i think he's a really good player.

Parker is more of a deep lying play maker than masch but I reckon he could adapt his game a bit to get better at breaking up play and still be able to utilise his passing range. Masch is brilliant at hwat he does but it's very limited and i'd prefer a 2 trick pony who has a bit more vision when he's got posession of the ball.
