took the corsa today to chris @efi parts in runcorn , its having a new loom made up and a running in map put on it , he said it should take no longer than a week, but that was him thinking there was some other wiring to do like pumps so im hoping for it a bit quicker hopefully towards the end of the week, reconed it will need about 500ish miles to run the rings in

feel like a kid the night before christmas waiting for it back now , he said he is going to let me know when its fired up so i know everything is ok with the engine

yes mate been down there today

had to go down there today as he needed to change some wiring on the relays witch were behind the dash (fuel pumps turn on with a switched earth and not a 12v) so had to pull the dash forward so he could swap 2 wires round

so far he has fitted the tps and run wires for that the air temp, coil, , he has also run the wires for the water temp and the crank sensor but has ran these behind the drives wing so you cant see them , and the wires are all up at the scuttle , just got to run the injector wiring and wire it all into the ecu , said it should be ready to fire tomorow night but will prob start it on thursday ,

also getting launch control put into the loom ,

Just to clarify, your name is ben and not ron isn't it? I've been calling you ben in the thread, hoping i'm right now and not called you by the wrong name.

Still can't believe the attention to detail and level of work that has gone into this

Great build.

Still not keen on the bare carbon though - up close I'm sure it looks good, but can't help thinking from a distance it may look like it's been front ended and had a quick scrap yard fix job carried out?! I think I'd probably be tempted to spray them even though they're carbon personally

I bet you can't sleep, thinking about getting it going.

It might be worth getting some of this hose to sort out the kink in the breather hose.

Well done.

Looks great as it is, would take the character of the car/build away if painted.

Can't wait to see this in the flesh!
