Is this Moyes doing like Wenger has in the past and trying to please fans by bidding on players he's no chance of getting?

I really hope not but it feels that way. He'd be doing himself no favours doing it though, people aren't stupid. He HAS to do something this window

The whole Fabregas thing is a complete farce....
He moved heaven and earth to get his move back to his home, his dream boyhood club, yet he's going to leave after two seasons and head to Arsenal's biggest rivals? Even Fabregas isn't that much of a wanker.
And to add to that, Thiago has just left... Xavi isn't getting any younger, Fabregas is clearly going to play a lot more this season as well!
No way will FCB sell, and no way will Fabregas want to leave. *unless something extraordinary happens*
The mind boggles.

Just wish united would relise and move on and find another midfielder

Depends who we bring in to replace him!
If we can bring in someone who can score the goals I won't be too fussed. Just shows the mindset of someone like him that sees his arse when it doesn't go his way/holds a grunge (Moyes).
Rather he left tbh.

Tbh I'd be a bit pissed if I was Rooney. Played out of position most of last season and still slated for being out of form because he didn't score as much Then being told you are needed in case another striker gets injured. That would be hard to take for someone who's used to being a key player.
